Packing:
Bring a Water bottle, day pack for both mountain hikes and the Yellowstone full day tour. Be sure to bring, swimsuit, rain poncho, hat, sunscreen, a pair of jeans or warm trousers, a jacket, fleece, or sweatshirt. Everything is casual never formal… Jeans or shorts are in order all week including all meals nothing fancy. The days average 74 – 79 degrees and the evening can get a little chilly. We are planning an active week – so pack lots of comfortable clothes.
You do not need hiking shoes but if you have them bring them. Good running shoes or sneakers are advisable to wear during the Yellowstone tour and mountain horseback ride. Closed toed shoes are suggested for the zip-line and horseback ride and possibly an extra pair of sneakers for our rafting trip. Bring extra socks & tees!
Also, in preparation for the high altitude start drinking water 48 hours before your trip. Hydration reduces your chances of getting altitude sickness and jet lag. Bring a water bottle with short rope to tie to the raft while on the river and a beach chair… you can use it on concert night instead of lying on a blanket. (See Picture Below)
Don’t forget a chair for the concert in the park (if you have one-you can free gate check it at airport both ways), water bottle, rain poncho & day pack + a tennis racquet if you plan on playing during the week.
Transportation to Big Sky, Montana:
Our guests prefer to manage their own transportation to Big Sky (Airport Code:BZN) as it is a great opportunity to burn up those miles.
After you purchase your air to Montana contact Karst Stagecoach for R/T airport/hotel van service.
