This wonderful city is built on water and is well-known for its delectable food and marvelous architecture. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to visit Venice on your next European tour.
Cruise Day 2: Split, Croatia (Monday: July 8 / 8:00am to 5:00pm)
If you’re looking for a place of perfect serenity, you will surely enjoy a visit in Split – a coastal city in the region of Dalmatia in Croatia. At a bird’s eye angle, Split is basically an image out of a postcard with its wonderful beach, complex maze of narrow alley roads, and vibrant colors of the Old Town. Half an hour from Split is the town of Trogir. Trogir is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe as recognized by the UNESCO World Heritage List. Its shores are almost always lined with sailboats. This charming seaside port is truly a sight to see.
Included Shore Excursion: Split and Trogir Tour – On our guided tour, know the rich history of Split and Trogir from how it was built during the ancient Roman Empire to what made the cities the way they are today. Take your cameras with you as we stroll along the streets to Central Dalmatia where the infamous Cathedral and Bell tower of St. Domnius is located. Then we proceed to the beautifully antiquated town of Trogir where we will explore a mosaic of monuments that date from ancient Greek to the Middle Ages. Get the chance to see the Cathedral of St. Lawrence which is deemed to be one of Croatia’s finest architectural design.
Cruise Day 3: Dubrovnik. Croatia (Tuesday, July 9 / 8:00am to 5:00pm)
The tour continues in Dubrovnik which is dubbed by the poet Lord Byron as “the Pearl of the Adriatic”. Walk on marble streets ruled by centuries-old buildings topped with radiant orange roofs. Check out the lovely Dubrovnik beach entrenched between rocky ledges. It is the perfect venue for romantic travels and family excursions. Experience more of Dubrovnik on a cruise to Europe!
Included Shore Excursion – Dubrovnik City Tour (8 hours) – On this tour, we will be joined by our local guide to lead us to the best spots in Dubrovnik. Gain knowledge of its history and take in the beautiful scenery as you go on a panoramic drive through the city. Catch the best view from the top of the Srd Hill or from the Dubrovnik Cable Car. Visit the historic old pharmacy and the small museum with a collection of antique paintings, well-preserved relics, and vintage jewelry.
Cruise Day 4: Corfu, Greece (Wednesday: July 10 / 8:00am to 4:00pm)
Corfu, an island in the Ionian Sea, is widely recognized as a luxury holiday destination. More than that, it is defined by its rich mix of cultural heritage as a result of years spent under the rule of Italy, France, and Great Britain. This town is lined by two magnificent Venetian fortresses, winding medieval roads, and a French-style arcade. It is also where you can find the grand Palace of St. Michael and St. George.
Included Shore Excursion: Corfu Island Tour – The Corfu Island tour starts with a short drive through the Corfiot countryside. This will take us to the village of Gastouri to the Achilleion Palace. We then proceed to one of the highlights of today’s tour – a visit to the Bay of Paleokastritsa, also known as the “Capri of Greece”. Next stop is the Byzantine Monastery of the Virgin which is home to a community of monks. There you will find a museum of valuable Byzantine icons and church relics. For the next part of the tour, we will drive to Corfu Town popularly known for the Royal Palace of St. George and St. Michael. It is also the site for the breathtaking arcades of the Liston Piazza and the down-sized replica of the Rue de Rivoli of Paris. Before going back to the ship, grab the chance to do some souvenir shopping at the old flea market or at the shopping district.
Cruise Day 5: Santorini, Greece (Thursday July 11 / 2:00pm to 10:00pm)
Santorini is one of the most widely photographed places in the world thanks to its heaven-like whitewashed villages situated along the sea cliffs. Some people even think that it is the lost City of Atlantis. A volcanic eruption in the 16th century is what shaped its craggy landscape and rocky beaches.
Included Shore Excursion – Santorini Island Tour – During this tour, you will see the active volcano islet in
Santorini Bay. You will travel across the rich, volcanic countryside to visit the beautiful village of Oia. Located at the top of a cliff at the northern most point of the island, this location provides the ideal angle for tourists to see the panoramic view of the island and take photos. There you will see islets surrounded by blue, sparkling waters and steep, plummeting cliffs. Explore the shops, cafes, and domed churches as you walk along the twisting cobblestone alleyways. You will get the chance to catch sight of the Cycladic architecture and art galleries Oia is popular for. For our next destination, we will proceed to the famous Acrotiri’s archaeological site. Finally, we end our tour at the village of Fira where you will have the option of going back to the ship or staying in town to wander independently and do some shopping.
Cruise Day 6: Athens (Piraeus), Greece (Friday July 12 / 7:00am to 7:00pm)
Athens – the oldest city in Europe where civilization began. Most people know this city as home to the Acropolis and all the amazing architecture. It is also a center for the flourishing arts and culture scene. Athens is also a place where you can indulge in Mediterranean cuisine. Experience more of this city on our European cruise!
Included Shore Excursion – Acropolis and Plaka Tour – Explore the magic of Athens! Revel in its beautiful architecture, experience the people and its culture, and get to know its history and mythology. On this shore excursion, you will get to see all the popular tourist spots of the city. We will visit the Greek Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the presidential guards who protect it. As we walk through the old streets of Plake, you will have the opportunity to get lunch and buy souvenirs from the local shops. After which get ready to continue the tour to the Acropolis of Athens. This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to the Temple of Athena Nike, Propylaea Gateway, and the Parthenon. Take as many pictures as you want and listen to our guide talk about the story behind each ruin.
Cruise Day 7: Rhodes, Greece (Saturday: July 13 / 10:00am to 6:00pm) Rhodes is most popular for its beaches and ancient ruins from when it was occupied by the Knights of St. John during the Crusades. Get a feel of what it’s like to have existed during the medieval times as you walk the Street of Knights and explore the Palace of Grand Masters which has been turned into a museum. Included Shore Excursions: Old Town Walking Tour – The tour starts at the medieval castle where you will bear witness of the town’s sophisticated architecture. Discover the rich history of Rhodes and hear about the medieval legends surrounding its walls. Take a walk through history as we visit the Jewish Quarter, Ippokratous Square, famous Street of the Knights, Grand Master Palace, Archaeological Museum and Fortifications of the Palace.
Cruise Day 8: Mykonos, Greece (Sunday: July 14 / 7:00am – 3:00pm)
In the Aegean Sea lies the Island of Mykonos. It is popular among the tourists for its party beaches which often accommodate a large gathering of people coming for summer festivities. Beaches such as Paradise and Super Paradise have bars that blast music all night long. These dance clubs are run by celebrity DJs and remain full of life until sunrise. Other than that, Mykonos is the location of the iconic 16th-century windmills built on a hill right above town. Included Shore Excursion: Mykonos Town and Delos Tour -The tour begins as we go on board the local ferry to Delos. Delos is a small unpopulated island which was once the religious center of the Aegean. It is also the birthplace of Apollo. More of these fun trivia will be discussed by our local guide as you go along the tour.
Cruise Day 9: Argostoli, Kefalonia, Greece (Monday: July 15/ 8:00am – 2:00pm)
Argostoli is the capital of Kefalonia, an island in the Ionian Sea marked by sandy coves and dry rugged landscapes. This popular tourist destination is guarded by mountains and forests. It is also blessed with the finest white-sand beaches and the beauty of limestone cliffs. Argostoli was once home to the most picturesque Venetian buildings until it was struck with a big earthquake in 1953. Included Shore Excursion: Kefalonia Island Tour – Our day begins with a very scenic coastal drive. We will get to see the island’s villages, wine yards, olive trees, and incredible thick cypress glades to the Agios Gerasimos Nunnery. The monastery is surrounded by the Omala valley where the 40 wells of St Gerasimo are located. We then make our way to Samia, a beautiful coastal town with wide paved streets and Venetian buildings that reflects the colorful heritage of the island. Take some pictures for the gram as we stop above Myrtos beach for a quick photo-op. For our last destination, we will go visit Assos. You will be given the opportunity to enjoy a walk along the coastline as well as do some souvenir shopping.
Cruise Day 10: Kotor, Montenegro (Tuesday: July 16 / 8:00am – 4:00pm)
Montenegro is a country of incredible terrain and bodies of water. It boasts of mountains with snow peaks, steep hills, lakes, and beaches. The city of Kotor is the most well-preserved medieval town of Montenegro. It is located on a bay in the middle of rising cliffs where the Balkans meet the Adriatic. There you will see the medieval Old Town with its marvelous palazzos and charming cafes. Included Shore Excursion: Kotor Overview Tour –The tour begins with a 12-mile drive along the
Budvan Riviera. As part of this relaxing sightseeing activity, we will get to see the most beautiful parts of the private island r
esort St. Stefan which was once a small fishing village. Then we proceed to visit the ancient town of Budva. Bear witness of its towering forts, gates, and walls. Learn about the history of Kotor as we go along our tour. Get to visit the numerous stone churches including the Kotor Cathedral also known as the Cathedral of St. Tryphon built in 1166. Admire the palaces built by the prominent families of the city’s past.
Cruise Day 11: Venice, Italy (Wednesday:July 17 / 1:00pm – Overnight)
Venice is the capital of the region Veneto in northern Italy. This city is built on over 100 tiny islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. People go around the city through water canals lined with Renaissance palaces and Gothic architecture. Find the St. Mark’s Basilica and the Campanile Bell Tower at the Piazza San Marco which is the city’s principal public square.
Included Shore Excursion: Venice Walking Tour – What makes Venice different from all the other cities is the fact that it has over 400 bridges and 150 canals. Get the most out of your visit by joining us on a walking tour through the traffic-free streets of Venice where you will see churches, palaces, and shops. Our walking tour will cover the route of where all the important monuments stand, from the San Marco Square to the Rialto Bridge. Get to know more about the city’s famous landmarks from the Basilica’s Byzantine heritage to the adjoining prisons of the Doge’s Palace.
Cruise Day 12: Venice, Italy (Thursday: July 18 / Disembark 6:00am) Today marks the end of the cruise. You will have a chance to say goodbye to the friends you have made on the cruise during breakfast, but you can disembark the ship anytime after 6:00 am. You may then make your way to the Venice airport (VCE) to catch your flight home. Safe skies everybody!

What is a Singles Cruise?
A Singles Cruise is a private group onboard a large cruise ship that is for singles only. There will be at least one singles host/hostess just for the group and lots of fun activities to particpate in. There will be cocktail parties, shows and different entertainment every night, poolside get-togethers, singles only shore excursions and dining tables just for the singles group. Most of our singles cruises offer a pre cruise hotel and get together.
What’s is Included and Not Included in your Singles Cruise price?
All of your meals and snacks onboard the ship, both in the main dining areas and buffets are included with your singles cruise. Room service is available and is usually complimentary but please verify on the ship as some late night service may have a charge. There are specialty restaurants on most cruise ships, these are not complimentary and charge a fee.
Drinks are not included in the price of your cruise fare. There is complimentary fountain water, ice tea, coffee and a small choice of juices available in the buffet area 24 hours/day. The same drinks are available at all meals. All other beverages including soda, bottled water, alcohol drinks, juices and specialty coffees are an additional fee.
Most cruise lines will allow you to bring onboard one bottle (750ml) of wine or champagne, per person (two per cabin), only in their carry-on luggage. A corkage fee per bottle will be charged should you wish to consume the wine in a public are. Check with the cruise line before boarding.
Cruise lines are now offering drink packages that can be purchased prior to boarding or on your first day onboard. Packages vary from ship to ship but most offer soda packages, bottled water packages, wine and liquor packages, Below is a link to their drink package pages.
Gratuities for the ships staff. Most cruise lines add approximately $13/day per person to your onboard cruise bill which is split up between your cabin steward, dining room servers and those hard-working behind-the-scenes employees who making sure the buffet is full at all times. It is customary, but voluntary, to tip your state room steward and waiter extra in cash if you feel their service was exceptional.
Wifi – Internet Access – Stay connected while at sea. With Wifi signal throughout most cruise ships, you can enjoy Internet access with your choice of value Internet Packages.
Are Taxes and Port Charges Included in the Price of a Singles Cruise?
All taxes and port charges are included in the posted prices of our Singles Cruises. The price on the cruise website is the total price of the cruise.
What are the Ages of Single Cruisers?
Singles cruises are usually open to singles 21 years and older but the majority of our cruisers are in the age range 40 to 60s+ years. There are always singles who are younger and older on each cruise. If you are in your 30s or younger, please check with us before booking, to make sure the age group of the cruise you are booking is appropriate. Throughout the year age specific singles cruises are offered like a 20s and 30s sailings for the younger group.
How Many Singles are on Each Cruise?
The number of singles on each cruise varies based on the destination, season and of course the number of people who book. The Caribbean and Holiday singles cruises get the largest crowds. The size of our group on these cruises can range from 50 to 400 singles. Our international cruises draw a smaller crowd so you will feel like you are traveling with friends when sightseeing around the world.
Who Travels on Singles Cruises?
Singles who travel on singles cruises come from all over the US, Canada and even around the world. Most of our singles are professionals or retired people who are interested in having fun and meeting new friends. Most of us don’t like traveling alone and enjoy being part of a fun group.
Are the Singles Cruises activities open to any singles onboard the ship?
No, singles must book their entire reservation with us to take advantage of our exclusive singles activities and shore excursions.
Is Roommate Matching Available?
Free roommate matching is available on all our advertised cabins. We match singles with roommates of the same gender and close to the same age. Booking early will help ensure that you are matched with someone close to your age. We try our best to match you with the perfect roommate, but of course there are no guarantees.
Please note that Singles Travel Service accepts no responsibility for roommate matching incompatibility such as sleep patterns, snoring, noise, or age differences. If you are concerned that any of these disparities may be an issue affecting the enjoyment of your vacation, we recommend you purchase a single cabin or better yet – bring a friend along who may also enjoy a singles cruise!
Singles Travel Service does not conduct any type of background checks on it clients in general, and specifically does not conduct background checks on matching a client with another in a roommate situation.
Best Single Travel makes no representations or warranties regarding compatibility between roommates. Our roommate matching is strictly for non-smokers – this is for the comfort of all our roommate matches, and it relies on the honor system at booking and common courtesy while onboard. Even if you don’t consider yourself a regular smoker, if you do choose to smoke during the cruise, then you will not have the option of using our roommate matching on any future cruises.
Under no circumstances will Singles Travel Service be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, general, special, compensatory, consequential, and/or incidental arising out of or relating to the conduct of any client or guest action or interaction between clients or guests, including without limitation bodily injury, emotional distress, harassment, and defamation.
How much is the Deposit and When is Final Payment Due?
A deposit is required at time of booking your singles cruise, this will reserve your cabin space. Deposit amounts vary and are based on the length of cruise and the cruise destination. Deposit information for each cruise is posted next to the online pricing information. Full payment is generally due 90 days prior to the sailing date (but may vary by cruise line). For your convenience, charges will automatically be processed at time of final payment. Payments can be made by personal check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. For those guests who book after the balance of the deposit is due, full payment is required at the time of reservation.
What Documents do I Need to Cruise?
The requirements described below are required by government regulations and policies. They are subject to change without notice.
It is your responsibility to identify and obtain all required travel documents and have them available at the pier when necessary. The appropriate valid travel documents such as passports, visas and inoculation certificate (if needed) are required for boarding and re-entry into the United States and other countries.
If you do not possess the proper documentation you may be prevented from boarding your cruise ship, or from entering a country, and you may be subject to fines. No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation. Guests on consecutive sailings must ensure they have the proper travel documents for their entire cruise vacation.
Domestic sailings are all sailings originating and ending in ports located in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, including Panama Canal sailings.
U.S. citizens on closed-loop cruises (cruises that begin and end at the same port in the U.S.) will be able to enter or depart the country with proof of citizenship, such as a government-issued birth certificate and laminated government issued picture ID, denoting photo, name and date of birth.
Note: Baptismal papers and hospital certificates of birth are not acceptable. Voter registration cards or Social Security cards are not considered proof of citizenship.
Alien Registration Card (Green Card) – U.S. lawful permanent residents will continue to be able to use their Alien Registration Card (ARC) issued by the Department of Homeland Security or other valid evidence of permanent residence status to apply for entry to United States. ARC holders (United States permanent residents) with expired cards may be considered “out of status” and may be denied entry/reentry into the United States. If your ARC was issued over 10 years ago, you should check the expiration date printed on the front of the card. If your card is expired, or it is about to expire, you should renew your card before you cruise. If you are holding an old edition ARC WITHOUT an expiration date, you will not be detained from entering the United States, but U.S. Customs and Border Protection highly suggests that you apply for a new card before you cruise.
International Sailings are cruises other than those originating and ending in ports located in the U.S., Canada and Mexico including Panama Canal sailings. These are itineraries in Europe, South America, Asia and Australia/New Zealand including re-positioning sailings originating or ending in their ports.
A valid passport is required for travel. For your protection, we recommend that your passport expiration date not occur within six (6) months of the sailing termination date. Ensure there are sufficient blank visa pages within the passport for visa stamps. U.S. citizens carrying an Official (maroon cover) passport must also be in possession of a valid Diplomatic or personal (blue or green cover) passport to allow ship embarkation.
Visas – Based on nationality, many countries still require an entry visa. A visa may be included in your cruise vacation package. If not, you re responsible for getting your visa in the appropriate time period to travel. Depending on your itinerary, the ship may collect your passport to speed up the clearance formalities at each port of call. We suggest you bring with you a few photocopies of your passport’s personal page which includes the picture, and that you carry one of these photocopies with you each time you leave the ship.
Are Shore Excursions Included?
Our specialty and international cruises include all shore excursions (unless noted). Shore excursions are guided tours or adventures in a cruise ship’s port of call. If the shore excursion is not included in a Caribbean cruise price, information and booking instructions are sent approximately 60 days prior to each cruise. You can always purchase shore excursions directly with the cruise lines.
Where do I Sit in the Dining Room?
One of the benefits of cruising with a singles cruise group is that you never have to eat alone. There are separate tables of the dining room just for our group. We do not assign seats and we encourage you to sit with different dinner partners each night. We usually reserve late dining (8:00 p.m.) for our entire singles group.
What if I Need to Cancel my Cruise?
In the event that you wish to cancel your singles cruise, you need to email Info@singlestravelservice.com.
As soon as you book your cruise and your cabin is reserved with the appropriate cruise line, a $100 cancellation fee becomes effective. After the initial $100 please follow the cruise line’s cancellation policy below. When calculating the days prior to sailing, the day of sailing should not be considered as one of the days. The day of sailing is considered the first day of the cruise, therefore, the penalty period will commence one day prior to the day of sailing.

Singles Travel Service recommends that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Travel protection plans include coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more.
Will a Cruise ever be Modified or Cancelled?
The safety and satisfaction of our guests is always the #1 concern of the cruise line and Singles Travel Service. The cruise line or Singles Travel Service may modify, change or cancel a cruise at any time and for any reason whatsoever. A hosted group departure may also be modified, changed or cancelled and may go un-hosted should there be an insufficient number of guests.
Do Singles Cruises Cost More then Regular Cruises?
Some singles cruises include shore excursions in the prices and some of the singles cruises do charge more than a normal (non-single) cruise. As a singles cruiser you get a private host and can do all the activities included on the cruise plus all the exclusive singles activities.
Can I make a Last Minute Cruise Reservation?
We understand that an opening in your schedule can happen at any time and you may be able to cruise at the last minute. As long as the cruise ship has cabin availability we will be happy to have you join our singles cruise group.
