Telluride is a serious ski destination with over 2000 + skiable acres and a huge vertical drop of over 4,425 ft, 127 groomed trails and unlimited off piste tree terrain all serviced by an astonishing 18 lifts. Best of all Telluride enjoys an average snowfall of over 300 inches… a lot by any standard. The resort is 25% beginner, 35% intermediate and 40% advanced.. clearly a resort for everybody who loves to ski or board.

The Peaks has a 5 floor, 42,000 ft spa which includes a state of the art fitness center, 2 pools, multiple hot tubs and full service spa services. Many guests visit The Peaks for the spa and consider the skiing as incidental. By any standards The Peaks is a world class hotel destination a vacation unto itself.
Telluride Ski Resort sits above the historic town of Telluride an original mining town from the 1800’s. The entire town is classified as an official national historic site. Connection between the town and the mountain village is accomplished by either skiing down one of several runs into town or taking the gondola from the base village either way. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and sights for an afternoon or just a ski down lunch and gondola ride back up to the slopes.

Best to arrive in Montrose in the early afternoon so you will have plenty of time to travel to our hotel and relax before our orientation. We will have a light dinner and presentations by the resort and our singles host. This is the perfect opportunity to meet our other single guests and learn about our week events.

Wednesday Optional Snowmobile Tours:
Easy & Fun (half day tours): Groomed trails and spacious meadows offer a wonderful variety of terrain for riders of any ability. Inexperienced riders enjoy classic touring on wide trails with soft edges and gentle corners. We have few of the tight trees and hairpin turns that characterize other high-elevation tours. Safety is emphasized at every juncture. Professional guides conduct a concise safety orientation to ensure comfort and confidence while touring.
Advanced terrain (advanced half day): Experienced snowmobilers are in for a treat. Telluride Outside rides hundreds of acres of advanced terrain in Beaver Park and the Black Mesa area, highlighted by the rolling hills and glades of “The Circus.” Experienced riders are advised to consider our 3-hour tour, which allows plenty of time to explore the periphery of Beaver Park’s spectacular terrain.
