July 2 - Day 1 - USA
Depart USA on own arrangement - Fly into Rome airport (FCO) and fly home from Venice (VCE) - Discount Air Link

July 3 - Day 2 - Rome
Arrive Rome in the morning, meetup with other singles and solo travelers. Our singles vacation begins at noon with a half day sightseeing tour.
St Peter's Basilica - is the center of christianity. The opulence of the building's interior bears testimony to the wealth of the catholic church in the 16th century.
The Colosseum is probably the most impressive building of the Roman empire. Originally known as the Flavian Amphitheater, it was the largest building of the era.

The monumental structure has fallen into ruins, but even today it is an imposing and beautiful sight.
The Roman Forum was the marketplace of Rome and also the business district and civic center.  It was the center of political and social activity.
Toss a coin  in the Trevi Fountain, the most famous and arguably the most beautiful fountain in all of Rome.

July 4 - Day 3 - Rome
After breakfast we will have a morning tour of the Vatican.  Stroll the Vatican Museums, which house over 9 miles of the most extensive collection of art in the world. Experience Michelangelo’s famous Creation of Adam with your own eyes as you explore the Sistine Chapel and wander Raphael’s Rooms.
Afternoon at leisure to do all the things you wanted to do if you ever came to Rome. Now is your chance.

July 5 - Day 4 - Rome, Naples, Capri
Full day tour:
Naples is a lively and vibrant city, full of wonderful historical and artistic treasures and narrow, winding streets with small shops.

The ruins of Pompeii, unearthed in the mid-18th century, contain 2,000-year-old temples, villas and artworks buried when volcanic Mount Vesuvius blew its stack in 79 A.D.

A tour around the island of Capri by boat is, without doubt, a unique and truly exhilarating experience. The spectacularly dramatic coast of Capri is characterized by numerous creeks, tiny bays and caves.

Capri’s Blue Grotto is known throughout the world for its size, the intense blue tones of its interior and the magical silvery light which emanates from the objects immersed in its waters.

July 6 - Day 5 - Rome, Florence
Our singles travel contiunes with a Half Day sightseeing tour with guide
A distinctive feature of Florence's skyline is the dome of the cathedral (Duomo), Santa Maria del Fiore.

The Piazzle Michelangelo overlooks one of the most famous and magnificent views of Florence.
The Basilica di San Miniato al Monte stands atop one of the highest points in Florence, and has been described as the finest Romanesque structure in Tuscany and one of the most beautiful churches in Italy.

July 7 - Day 6 - Florence, San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa
San Gimignano - is a charming hill town which has preserved its medieval appearance more completely than any other town in Tuscany.

The town is famous for its numerous towers which make it conspicuous from a great distance and provide one of the most remarkable sights in Italy. It is possible to walk along the 13C walls from which there are fine views of the rich agricultural farm land which surrounds the town.
Siena - Rich in art treasures and historic architecture, it is one of the most popular tourist centers in Italy. It is also noted for its wine and for its marble.

People watch, eat lunch or sip a glass of wine at Piazza Del Campo
Pisa - renowned worldwide for its Leaning Tower, is a city full of surprises; from the bright  quays walled by noble buildings, to the web of narrow, medieval alleys leading to the famous Piazza dei Miracoli.
Standing in a large green expanse, Piazza del Duomo houses a group of monuments known the world over. The four masterpieces of medieval architecture are the cathedral, the baptistry, the campanile (the 'Leaning Tower') and the cemetery

July 8 - Day 7 - Florence
Day to explore on your own or with the new single friends you have made
 

July 9 - Day 8 - Florence, Venice
Piazza San Marco, or St. Mark's Square, is Venice's most famous square. You will take away memories of an exciting environment filled with people from all over the world, street vendors of all sorts and, of course, the pigeons.

Basilica di San Marco's interior is decorated throughout with mosaics on gold ground and with many varieties of marble

July 10 - Day 9 - Venice
Explore the Islands of Murano & Burano with a local expert guide on a boat tour of Venice. Visit the Island of Murano to see the famous glass-works, and relax on the charming island of Burano, famous for its local craft of lace-making. Enjoy its multi-colored houses. while strolling around this enchanting island.

July 11 - Day 10 - Venice
Day at lesiure - Last chance to find that hidden treasure, shop for that final souvernier or people watch at a nearby cafe.
 
July 12 - Day 11 - U.S.A.
Enjoy a final breakfast with new single friends then say Arrivedercci to Italy as we make our way back home and the end of another great singles vacation.
