It was never discovered by the Spanish or mentioned in their chronicles, but a professor from Yale - Hiram Bingham, discovered the ruins buried beneath dense undergrowth in 1911. |
Day 01 Arrive Lima Upon arrival in Lima you will be met by a staff member and transferred to your hotel in the lively district of
Hotel Manhattan Inn. The Manhattan Inn-Airport Hotel is located only a few 15 minutes from Callao, You can visit beautiful places like Palomino Island. Then you can visit historical places like “La Fortaleza Real Felipe” and Naval Museum. Our location near to the international airport “Jorge Chávez”, allows you to visit the center of Lima, which is only 15 minutes away You can go to interesting places like La Plaza Mayor, the Palace of Government and more. Day 02 Lima / Cuzco (B) Early
morning flight to the capital of the Incas, met by a staff member with your names on it and transferred to your Cusco is the land of the Sun and Gateway to the Magic World of the Inca
Guesthouse in San Blas district -Tikawasi or similar. On a lovely, winding street in the San Blas neighborhood, The Tikawasi has a flower-filled garden, around which cluster modern, airy, carpeted rooms with huge windows and stupendous views. |

Day 03 PISAC RUINS AND MARKET (B) This excursion takes you through the Urubamba Valley to the colorful Indian Market of Pisac where natives from the region of Cusco come to trade their products to then visit this magnificent site above this town from eher you have a great view of this valley.Overnight in Urubamba . Hotel la Recoleta or similar. |

Day 4 MORAY AND SALT MINES - OLLANTAYTAMBO (B) Moray is located one hour aprox from Urubamba Cusco City, and provides one of the most spectacular views of the Urubamba Mountain Range. It is also the location of some dramatic conical depressions formed by a unique form of Inca Terraces. This site is thought to have been an experimental natural greenhouse to grow an extraordinary variety of tropical crops beyond their normal altitude. We do a small hike down the Salt mines and visit the local salt co-operative which extracts the mineral by evaporation from a natural spring, thereby demonstrating that early Andean civilizations were not necessarily dependent upon coastal trade for this important mineral. Reaching the valley of Urubamba our Van meets us to take us to Ollantaytambo tour guided of this site. Overnight at Ollantaytambo. |

Day 5 AGUAS CALIENTES (B) Morning train to Aguas Calientes . afternoon on your own to explore the Machu Picchu Museum near Aguas Calientes or just relax at the hot springs. Overnight. |

Day 6 MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO (B) At 5:30 am Early morning bus up to Machupicchu. Tour guided with your tour guide .Afternoon train return to Cusco. Transfer to Hotel.

Day 7 CUSCO (B) Mid morning your tour guide meets you at your hotel and takes you on a sightseeing tour of the town taking in the colonial churches and visiting Inca ruins outside the city; Sacsayhuaman ( temple of the lightning, Qenqo ( ceremonial place , Puca- pucara (Inca Fortress ) and Tambomachay (Temple of the water ). Climate: Cuzco’s climate is divided into two differentiated seasons: the rainy season, from November to April (the heaviest rainfalls occurring usually between January – March); and the dry season, from May to October. The dry season is colder, and the temperatures can drop to 32ºF at night along the Inca Trail. Temperatures range from 59-68ºF during the day (if it’s sunny), to 41-50ºF during the day (if not sunny) and 32-41ºF at night at the first 2 campsites. At Wiñaywayna and Machu Picchu, at lower altitude, temperatures are usually warmer though warm clothes are still recommended at night.
