Daily Itinerary:
Day 1: Flying/Arrival from JFK to Cairo
Meet up with your Scuba & Adventure organizers, Vanessa & Lynn with the group flight from JFK (included in price). You are responsible for getting to the JFK airport.
Day 2: Cairo
Your trip starts in Cairo. Arrive in Cairo at the International Airport and be greeted we will assist you through customs and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon visit we will visit the Egyptian Museum, including the Mummies Room. In the evening we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner at El Azhar Park on a mountain overlooking Old Cairo.

Day 3: Cairo
Cairo is the 'Mother' of all cities, a massive, sprawling metropolis of some 16 million people. Following breakfast, we start off with a half-day guided tour to the Great Three Pyramids in Giza, belonged to the Kings of the 4th Dynasty of the Old Kingdom Cheops, Chephren & Mykerionos and the Sphinx, the huge guard of the Funeral Complex with king Chephren face & Lion body. Included is a short camel ride at the Pyramids. Then have lunch at an open Air restaurant in Pyramids Area. In the afternoon we will visit the necropolis of Sakkara and the ancient city of Memphis. [Evening: enjoy an optional sound and light show at the Sphinx]

Day 4: Cairo- Camping in the White Desert
Head to the Bahariya Oasis, and get a chance to drive across the dunes towards the black desert. Followed by a 4x4 jeep ride to visit the hot and cold spring in the small Bedouin village El Hez then a visit to Crystal Mountains. Then off we go on a camel ride to El Agabat where we cross sand dunes and the valleys to camp overnight in the White Desert.The White Desert is one of the most surreal landscapes you are likely to encounter. Vast wind-eroded chalk monoliths rise from the desert sands - some looking like pinnacles, some like mushrooms and others dome-shaped. Sunset and sunrise are the best times to view these formations, as their colors change through shades of pink and orange. Against the backdrop of the desert this is sure to be an outstanding experience. Also, we sleep ‘under the stars’ tonight, watching countless shooting stars as our Bedouin friends cook us a great meal and share stories by the camp fire.

Day 5: Cairo to Aswan (sleeper train)
After breakfast visit the El Mushroom Valley also known as “the tents valley”, we will drive back to the Oasis where we freshen up and continue to Cairo. In the evening, we take the night train back to Cairo, with dinner served on board. Our air-conditioned carriage has large, comfortable seats, similar to business class seats on a plane, which recline back at about 45 degrees. A simple dinner and breakfast are served on board.

Day 6: Aswan- Philae- Felucca- Nubian Village
Head out to one of our favorite places in Aswan. While Aswan is Egypt’s third-largest city, it has an easy-going, laid-back atmosphere. We will tour the Philae temple and High Dam. We will enjoy lunch at hotel then go for a Felucca sailing trip around Aswan islands and Nubian Village. [In the evening we have the option to travel by horse drawn carriage to the Aswan Spices Bazaar.]

Day 7: Luxor- Edfu- Luxor
Drive to Luxor where we will visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo and the temple of Horus in Edfu. We will have a lunch box during the tour. In the evening we will enjoy a Sound & Light Show at Karnak. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8: West Bank- Valley of the Kings- Luxor
We will enjoy [an optional hot-air balloon ride] over the West Bank, Tour the West Bank, [[donkey ride to the]] Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatsheepsut’s Temple, Colossi of Memmnon and Ramsum where we will enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the afternoon. We will also visit the Karnak Temple which is a complex of many pylons, temples, halls & sanctuaries from the middle kingdom. [Optional: In the evening you can do a tour by calesche, optional horse drawn carriage]. Return to hotel and overnight in Luxor.

Day 9: Over Night Camping @ Luxor- Sharm El Sheikh
Transfer to Luxor Airport where we fly to Sharm el Sheikh. Arrive in Sharm and freshen up. Afternoon quad runner and Bedouin lunch. Dinner and Camping under the stars.

Day 10: Sharm El Sheikh
Divers – 2 tank dives at Ras Mohammed, which is the best diving spot in Sharm. Includes equipment and lunch. [Optional night dive]
Adventurers – St. Catherine’s Monastery visit and tour, includes lunch.

Day 11: Sharm El Sheikh
Divers: 2nd day diving in Sharm El Sheikh. Includes equipment and lunch. [[Optional night dive]]

Day 12: Cairo
Morning drive to Cairo, (at noon stop in Suez for lunch at seafood restaurant and continue to Cairo. Free afternoon in Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 13: Alexandria
Check out and drive to Alexandria.
Divers: Awesome 2-tank wreck diving in Alexandria, includes equipment and lunch.
Adventurers: Tour Greco Roman Museum, Catacombs and Pompeii Pillar. Lunch at sea food restaurant.
Dinner at hotel in Alexandria.

Day 14: Montazah
Tour Montazah, Gardens, Roman Ampitheater, and Jewelry Museum, drive back to Cairo. Farewell Gala Party on Nile Maxim with Belly Dance.

Day 15: Cairo – Fly Home
Our trip ends today, after breakfast. Morning check out from hotel and transfer to Cairo International airport for group flight back to JFK.
