Day 2 -

Kayaking & Snorkeling la Sirenita or Optional Fishing

This morning you’ll have a quick lesson in kayaking before you take to the water for a leisurely paddle, taking in the sights around Playa la Sirenita, also known as “Mermaid Beach.” Along the way you’ll stop to snorkel the warm and bountiful waters. If you’d rather fish, you’ll experience world-famous angling in the Sea of Cortez. With luck, you’ll reel in mahi mahi, tuna, or even marlin. This afternoon you’re free to relax at the hotel, swim or meet others at the hotel bar. Meals included: B, L & D

Day 3

Scuba Diving Cabo Pulmo, Optional Hiking - 6 Miles

Today is your chance to dive the living coral reef at Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park. Certified divers can do a two-tank dive. If you aren’t certified, you can do a resort dive, which covers the essentials, then dive to 15 feet with a professional divemaster. Of course, if you’d rather, you can snorkel. After lunch, you have the chance to relax on a beach or to enjoy a six-mile hike in the hills around Cabo Pulmo. Your reward for all the climbing is a stunning “buena” vista. Meals included: B, L & D

Day 4 –

Hiking Canon la Zorra, Swimming Sol de Mayo

Today you’ll explore the Sierra de la Laguna Biosphere Preserve traveling up Cañon de la Zorra. The highlight of the day is the breathtaking, waterfall-fed natural pool at Sol de Mayo where you can swim or, if you’re feeling even more adventurous, dive off the rocks into the refreshing waters. This afternoon you’ll have the chance to settle into your new hotel. Tonight you can enjoy dinner at the restaurant of your choice.  Meals included: B & L

Day 5 –

Mountain Biking San Cristobal - 6, 9 or 15 Miles

This morning you’ll pedal dirt roads and optional singletrack trails weaving through native vegetation. You can bike as much or as little as you want, choosing a distance option to fit your cycling ability. This afternoon you’re again free to relax at the hotel and go for a swim in the pool. It’s also a great time to take a shopping excursion north into the sleepy artist community of Todos Santos. Tonight you’ll dine in style before heading out on the town to celebrate the New Year. Meals included: B & D

Day 6 –

Relax or Explore Cabo San Lucas

Today is a great day to sleep-in and relax poolside especially if you were feeling festive the night before. We’ll then shuttle you to the airport, or to your next hotel should you be staying in Baja after the end of your adventure. Meals included: B

The nature of adventure travel is the unexpected sometimes happens. It’s part of the experience. In order to enjoy our trip to the fullest, we need to embrace change and be open to some fluctuation. Thus, the above itinerary is subject to change depending on a variety of factors. In every case, we will endeavor to make you aware of changes as soon as possible, but, occasionally, we must make changes immediately prior to, or during, a departure. We strive to offer the best quality trip for each area and will make every effort to offer a comparable or better vacation. Rest assured, our goal is to leave you with the best possible experience so that you’ll choose to travel with us again and again.

Meeting and Departing:

While some guests prefer to arrive for the trip start and depart the day the trip ends, other guests prefer to add time before or after the trip in San José del Cabo (San José) or Cabo San Lucas (Cabo). We accommodate you either way as we will pick you up and drop you off at the airport, San José or Cabo, as you desire. Hotel pickup time will depend on where your hotel is located but will be around noon in Cabo and around 1 pm in San José. We will confirm your pickup time with you on an individual basis. Those we are meeting at the airport, we will be at the airport between 2 and 3 pm, so, if your flight arrives earlier, then you may have to wait.
