International Flight Information for Kenya

Most flights to Kenya from the USA or Canada connect through Europe. Popular hubs in Europe are London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and Brussels.

 

Some carriers that serve Kenya are British Airways, Kenya Air, Northwest/KLM, and Swiss Air.  US carriers like Delta, United, and American are also available and use their partner airlines to cover the Europe/Nairobi portion of the flight.

  

Most flights depart the US in the afternoon or early evening, arrive in Europe in the following morning (6 hour time difference from NY) and arrive into Kenya later that afternoon or evening. (9 hour time difference from NY)

 

Most flights returning to the US leave Kenya late in the evening 10pm or later, get to Europe in the morning and have you back in the US in the afternoon.  (You gain the 9 hours back on the way home)

 

To arrive in Kenya on Saturday June 2nd, you will want to depart on Friday June 1st

 

To arrive home on Sunday June 10th, you will want to depart Kenya Saturday evening June 9th in order to be able to participate in the farewell dinner.
